MAG is excited to announce that April Skou has joined our team as Vice President of ATHENA-R Program.
During April’s more than 20 years in the service she was a part of the Army’s airborne Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) community with assignments in EUCOM, CENTCOM, and INDOPACOM. Based on her extensive experience and Army relationships, she was selected to be on of MAG’s key personnel on the ATHENA-R program. Currently, while the aircraft are undergoing integration and test flight operations, April spends a lot of her time coordinating with the government stakeholders, government customers, and MAG’s teammates. As we move toward the aircraft deployment and fielding, she will be involved in the development of concept operations (CONOP) and coordination with operational customers. “Above the Best” and “Always Out Front” are mottos of Army Aviation and Intelligence, together these speak to the importance of getting time-sensitive, critical information to Soldiers on the ground. April says she is “excited and grateful to be a part of Team MAG as we partner with the Army to provide warfighters with needed capability through ATHENA-R.”
