Fairfax, Virginia – April 9, 2020 – MAG Aerospace proudly donates $10,000 to the PENFED Foundation COVID-19 Response Effort to help veterans, military members and families across the Nation and all branches of service as they navigate through the COVID-19 crisis. The economic impact of COVID-19 has threatened the financial stability of millions of Americans, including our military community.

On Tuesday, March 17, the PenFed Foundation launched the COVID-19 Emergency Financial Relief Program open to all Veterans, Active Duty, Reserves and National Guard who are experiencing a financial setback due to the negative economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. In four days, over 6,000 service members and veterans applied for help. The Foundation is prioritizing assistance to those who have lost their primary/only income or have an increased financial burden as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

About the PENFED Foundation
The PENFED Foundation is a 501c(3) non-profit of the Pentagon Federal Credit Union which was created after 9-11 to support our service members and veterans. The Credit Union pays the majority of the PENFED Foundation expenses so that over 95 percent of every donor dollar goes to our beneficiaries.
