VP, General Counsel
Mr. Taylor serves as the Vice President and General Counsel of MAG Aerospace (MAG), a private-equity backed specialty aviation company that provides worldwide manned and unmanned aerial intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) services, aerial training and support services, and aviation logistics. In these roles, he manages the Legal and Human Resources departments, and has responsibilities for corporate compliance, risk management, M&A and corporate secretarial duties.
Mr. Taylor has over 20 years of legal experience, with the past 17 in the aerospace and communications industries. Prior to joining MAG, Mr. Taylor held numerous senior business and legal roles within the aerospace industry, including Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Inmarsat Government, General Counsel of SES Government Solutions, and Senior Counsel of GE Spacenet. He began his in-house legal career as General Counsel of Moran Industries, the Chicago-based franchise holding company. Before becoming an in-house corporate attorney, Mr. Taylor litigated at Chicago based law firms and spent time in the Cook County States Attorney’s office.
Mr. Taylor holds degrees in Communications and in History from Virginia Tech and his Juris Doctor from DePaul University.
