TAPS: A Mission of Compassion
Founded in 1994, TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) stands as a national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing compassionate care and comprehensive resources to those grieving the loss of a military or veteran loved one. TAPS has become a lifeline, offering a 24/7 peer support network that connects survivors to an array of grief resources—all at no cost to the families. Through its National Military Survivor Seminar, Good Grief Camp, regional seminars, retreats, and expeditions, TAPS ensures that survivors have the support they need, whether it be emotional, practical, or community-based.
The TAPS mission extends beyond support to include a 24/7 National Military Survivor Helpline, offering immediate resources and emotional care. With a welcoming embrace, TAPS encourages everyone touched by loss to join their community of healing and hope.
A Sold-Out Charity Golf Tournament Success
This year’s charity golf tournament was met with overwhelming enthusiasm, selling out and marking another milestone in TAPS’ journey of support. The funds raised will directly impact the lives of military families, ensuring they receive the care and resources they need to navigate their grief. The event not only showcased the generosity of its participants but also highlighted the shared commitment to honoring and supporting the families of those who have served our nation.
