Woodbridge, VA – August 22, 2016 –  The U.S. Army has awarded a multi-million dollar contract to the team of Lockheed Martin and MAG to provide operations and sustainment and contractor logistics support services. SS-AISR is a R23G (Rapid Response 3rd Generation) contract vehicle opportunity that will provide acquisition, modification, integration and operations and sustainment for primary mission equipment and other selected platforms for US government sensor systems.

The SS-AISR program is chartered to manage operations and sustainment for a diverse fleet of aerial platforms that provide real-time imagery and analysis on the ground in Afghanistan. The program is sponsored by the Program Executive Office, Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors (PEO IEW&S) under the Project Manager–Sensors-Aerial Intelligence (PM-SAI). This customer is dedicated to designing, delivering and sustaining advanced technologies to give the warfighter the decisive edge by delivering modernized equipment at the right time, in the right place and at the best value.
